Hello! I’m Charmane M. Vaianisi, currently on staff at Rose Rock School in Norman, Oklahoma as pretty much the only Music Teacher (of course, all teachers incorporate Music into their curricula, as all of the teachers have Waldorf or Lifeways training to a lesser or greater extent, some with full accreditation as Waldorf educators). I am also a “terminal” cancer survivor, and I’ve needed to cut back on teaching (for reasons mostly fatigue-related; in terms of “energy,” I have yet to recover the energy I had in 2013).
I have hopes of continuing to work part-time for Rose Rock School for the rest of my life. And I also hope to find for the school a “real” Music Teacher whom I would be grateful to serve as “assistant,” even if it meant only working on a volunteer-basis while the “real” teacher was “the paid employee.”
